Assemble Quilt:

- Stitch the blocks together into 4 rows of 4 blocks each. Then stitch the rows together.
- Cut first border strips: From black print, cut 5 strips 1-3/4" x width of fabric. Piece strips together to get 2 strips 1-3/4" x 44-1/2" and stitch to the sides of the quilt top. Piece strips together to get 2 strips 1-3/4" x 47" and stitch to the top and bottom of the quilt top.
- Cut second border strips: From red print, cut 6 strips 3-1/2" x width of fabric. Piece together so that you have 2 strips 3-1/2" x 47" and 2 strips 3-1/2" x 54". Stitch shorter strips to sides of quilt top. Stitch longer strips to top and bottom of quilt top.
- Cut third border strips: From black print cut 5 strips 2-1/2" x width of fabric. Piece together so that you have 2 strips 2-1/2" x 52-1/2" and 2 strips 2-1/2" x 57". Stitch shorter strips to sides of quilt top. Stitch longer strips to top and bottom of quilt top.
- For binding, cut 6 black print strips 2-1/2" wide x width of fabric. Piece together so that you have 232" of binding.
- Layer, quilt as desired, and attach binding.
