Triangles, squares, diamonds, hexagons, every shape but circles have been a big part of Sharon Hultgren¹s life for the last 16 years. She owned a quilt shop for four years and while teaching came up with the design for the Easy Angle. This tool has made it possible to cut squares,triangles and other shapes from the same strip of fabric. She has continued to design other Easy tools, written several books and teaches around the country and overseas. Sharon especially enjoys weekend retreats where quilters can relax and have fun while learning to quilt. She has also designed a new product that is being produced by Benartex Fabrics. It is called ³Foundation by the Yard.² These are panels of fabric printed with patterns of quilt blocks to be sewn on. Sharon lives in Minnesota with her best friend and husband, Dale, and enjoys her children and grandchildren. |
