Before photography, advertisements were detailed miniature works of art. These early ads were the inspiration for Michele’s latest collection, Make Do and Mend. This group is a wonderful combination, buttons, scissors and notions prints. Included are two great stripes—a delicate needlepoint stripe and a lovely lace stripe—in a host of classic colors. Colors? Soft pinks and ivories to rich reds and browns.
