Jackie’s pattern for success began when she opened her company, Jackie Clark Designs, in 2004. Her inspiration came from a deep respect of authentic handmade textiles that she has spent her life collecting and researching. A lifetime of sewing experience allows Jackie to design her children’s patterns, quilting patterns and project books with simplicity in mind.

In 2005, a novice pattern maker, Jackie took her patterns to Quilt Market. Her fresh approach, enthusiasm and the unique display ideas of her booth received an overwhelming response. She now works with dozens of distributors and has since gone international with two new distributors. In 2007, Jackie began working with Baum Textiles, Windham Fabrics to design her first fabric line, The Sweetest Gifts. Her second fabric line, Little Man & Me Too will be available in 2009. Jackie has self published eleven patterns and three project books. Additionally, Jackie received a great honor to become a sewing instructor at the upcoming Fall Quilt Festival 2008 where she will teach six projects.

Jackie encourages other seamstresses, at all levels, to create their own designs and unleash their artistic energy. Jackie has owned and operated three successful cottage industry businesses and her constant focus has been to epitomize customer service by running her business with integrity. Quilt guilds and local quilt shop owners seek her lectures describing lessons learned and the history and value of fabrics and textiles.
